Orally speaking,

Poet should?

Poet who / Poet where / Poet when?

Poet is. Poet does. Poet lives. Present simple; simple present—I believe. Poet is not "can". Poet is not "cannot". Poet is not "should". Poet is not "should not". Poet is not "must". Poet is not "must not". Poet is not. Poet does not. Poet lives not. And yet, poet is. Singular—I avow. Poet is not are.

People who believe they have a say over whom I should marry, discompose me. Every intent, every attempt to inflict one's private[and microcosmic]—will upon a fellow-creature is indeed a crime!

It is fascinating to witness the convincement of a person over his / her ontological and teleological stance. Whenever I hear someone saying, "I am a ________," I inevitably think, "Good for you. I am glad conventions work so effectively for you. I genuinely wish I could acquire a fifth of your indisputable certainty."

But that is just me. See, my conflict is not that I am a _______. My conflict is that I am. Period. And yes. I revisit Hamlet constantly. I am the commonplace of the commonplace. I can live with that. Today.

"All time is all time. It does not change. It does not lend itself to warnings or explanations. It simply is. Take it moment by moment, and you will find that we are all, as I've said before, bugs in amber."

"That deserving is the quality which we call 'loveliness'—(we ought to have an opposite word, hateliness, to be said of the things that deserve to be hated), and it is not an indifferent nor optional thing whether we love this or that; but it is just the vital function of all our being."
